(Chatsworth, CA) Veteran director and performer Rodney Moore has hit a huge milestone—he’s celebrating his 25th year in the adult industry.

“I shot my first scene December 22, 1991,” says Rodney Moore. “A couple responded to an ad I put in LA Xpress, and I shot them at a motel outside of Disneyland, of all places. I looked at the scene six months later and felt sorry for the poor schmuck who had to edit it. Fortunately, I got better at it.”

Rodney has a rich history in the industry and made several genres very well known. While not the very first person to shoot POV style, he made it extremely popular, not limiting his POV shoots to just BJs, but penetration as well. Many current POV shooters have credited Rodney for inspiring them.

When Rodney started, he was watching porn, and dismayed at the lack of facials at that time. So, he made it his goal to never disappoint anyone who loved facial cum shots. By a strange twist of fate, it just so happened that Rodney was extremely well equipped to create big messy facials. Paul Fishbein, former AVN Owner, dubbed him “The King of Cream,” and well-known porn reviewer Dirty Bob created the phrase, “I Survived a Rodney Blast.” His highly original series “Crème De La Face” made facial cum shots the staple in porn that they are today. The same can be said of swallowing in his innovative “I Swallow” series. His interracial series “The Cumm Brothers” with co-big cummer Wolf Savage combined creative comedy skits with lots of anal sex and huge facials.

He’s been lauded for his work with Hall of Fame inductions by AVN and XRCO. His series are regularly nominated in a variety of categories at various high profile awards shows. In 2002, Rodney started shooting transsexual solo masturbation scenes with his series and web site, “ShemaleStrokers.com,” using the alter ego “Sammy Mancini.” In 2012, he received a lifetime achievement award at the Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs). Rodney also maintains a stellar reputation in the industry and is known for being ultra-respectful to models from all walks of life and genres—he’s worked with newcomers to veterans, and even helped establish the careers of many well-known performers throughout his career.

“After 25 years, I thought about retiring from performing, as I’m more than twice as old as most male performers in the biz,” says Rodney. “But a good friend said to me, ‘If people still want to pay money to watch you fuck, why do you care how old you are!’ So, I’m not slowing down. In fact, Rodney has taken advantage of the disparity between his age and the girls he does scenes with by doing the successful series, ‘Got it Bad for Step Dad’.”

Rodney’s also a talented musician and posts his popular music videos on his YouTube channel, where he sings and plays all the instruments.
