anjanette astoria posted this bulletin on Xpeeps I totally agree

hi lovers, this is for those out there in the adult industry who are reluctant to do content trade work, content share or are unfamiliar with royalties.  Talent or Stars that only want to get paid up front are a dying breed and will simply not last in the adult industry…hate to tell you.  Studio’s are making big financial adjustments, many doing some tremendous downsizing, reorganizing and even more are closing.  Studio’s look at talent now and see if the talent has their own website or strong fan base or if they do their own productions.  The thought is if the talent or the star cannot invest in their own future then why should the studio invest in the talent? In other words…if you won’t even buy you why should they buy you?  If someone won’t do content trade, but does have their own website that simply means their site is not successful and is a red flag not to hire them.  The other issue is taking control of your content is important if you want to last and have revenues for the future. Getting royalties or content trades or content shares are much less expensive to produce and actually pay a whole lot more then shooting a scene for someone, but you have to be in it for the long run.  It might take you a few months to realize the revenue when you invest in yourself. If you’re not investing in yourself you will simply be another casualty…just a matter of time.  Finally keep in mind that the amateur talent is getting stronger out there. Three years ago I was amateur talent, and now I own two production companies.  Keep fucking my xPeeps lovers! And don’t forget to film it! xoxoxo anjanette
