LOS ANGELES, CA – (JULY 20, 2011 ROADS TO MOSCOW PR) – Considered by many to be the largest popular arts and comic book convention in the world, the San Diego Comic-Con International (popularly known simply as Comic-Con) is receiving a wicked makeover this year. 2011 XBIZ Feature Studio Of The Year Wicked Pictures is joining forces with Nintendo, Fangoria magazine, Fearnet.Com, Monster Energy Drink, and other A-list companies to sponsor the premiere screening of Magnet Releasing‘s hotly-anticipated horror comedy Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil tomorrow evening, July 21st, at the Arts And Cinema Center, 319 7th Avenue in downtown San Diego.

Starring 30 Rock‘s sexy Katrina Bowden, Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil has been earning early praise on the film festival circuit, where critics have been championing Bowden‘s breakout performance and comparing the project to such popular sci-fi / horror comedies as Shaun Of The Dead and Zombieland.

In addition to seeing one of 2011’s hottest new indie releases, those lucky enough to attend tomorrow night’s screening will receive stylish Wicked VIP gift bags containing Brad Armstrong‘s AVN / XBIZ Editor’s Choice The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody and Wicked DVD samplers. DVDs from Magnet Releasing (including the company’s hit 13 Assassins), new issues of Fangoria magazine and treats from Monster Energy Drink are also featured in the bags.

The sexy Bowden will be on hand to make sure attendees receive their VIP bags; at press time co-stars Alan Tudyk, Tyler Labine and director Eli Craig are scheduled to attend as well.

For his part, Roads To Moscow PR‘s Daniel M, who helped coordinate Wicked‘s involvement in Comic-Con, couldn’t be happier to see the company sponsoring tomorrow night’s screening. “From the moment I first heard Brad Armstrong was planning a parody of The Rocky Horror Picture Show a year ago, I just knew we had to bring the movie to Comic-Con. This is the largest gathering of the movie’s target demographic, bar none, in the world. I’m happy Wicked was so eager to get involved, and I’m especially grateful to our fellow event sponsors for welcoming us aboard so graciously.”
