( LOS ANGELES, CA ) – The Bikini Sports Association is proud to announce the formation of the Bikini Basketball League. Beginning Summer 2011, league play will commence with six teams including the New York Dimes, Kentucky Cupcakes, Florida Honeydrippers, Texas Hot Sauce, California Wildfire and Indiana Milkshake. Games will feature attractive, bikini-clad females playing 2-on-2, half-court basketball.
“Our objective is to offer viewers a fresh, light-hearted take on traditional professional sports while maintaining a high-level of competitive basketball. The Bikini Basketball League provides fans with an unprecedented amount of interactive access, via the official league website currently under construction at bikinibball.com, including the ability to have real input into league and team management issues”, stated league spokesperson, Adam Baum. “We will always strive to be innovative and our online presence, along with our approach to social media and peripheral worlds such as social gaming, will be reflective of that.”
