The goal is to discourage the activity, which does nothing to benefit sex workers, whose rights and safety are still very much at risk.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In a recent blog article on Sheri\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/t.ymlp233.net\/hjmyarauwbuuataeemaaajbyeu\/click.php\">website<\/a>, company spokesman Jeremy Lemur takes Canadian legislators to task: Why aren\u2019t prostitution laws more like Nevada\u2019s, with its stringent safety regulations, licensing and regular STD testing?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cThe\u00a0Canadian Bill (now law) assumes that all prostitutes are working against their will and that the best mode of action for these women is to leave the industry. This broad, fundamentally flawed view of sex workers is not only incorrect; it\u2019s insulting to the millions of women across the globe who have embraced prostitution as an occupational choice.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cDespite what the Canadian government would like its citizens to believe, there are large numbers of sex workers in Canada and throughout the world who not only willingly practice prostitution, but who also\u00a0take pride in their work. Sex workers everywhere deserve legislation that encourages secure, healthy environments where prostitutes can profitably perform their services. The Nevada model criminalizes what deserves to be criminalized (child prostitution for example), while providing a prosperous situation for women who willfully provide sex services.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cAt the heart of the Nevada prostitution model is the belief that prostitution, an ancient and arguably inevitable aspect of human society, is not fundamentally wrong.
